Terms of Service
Last updated October 31, 2026
These terms are the agreement between Relicon LLC ("Relicon", "we", "us") and the business that signs up for Nexus or Axiom ("you"). They cover the software, your subscription and this website. By starting a trial, subscribing, or using the software, you agree to them on behalf of your business. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how it's used, and is part of these terms. Hone has its own terms, which also apply when you or your team use Hone.
1. Your account
- The person who signs up must be at least 18 and allowed to accept these terms for the business. That person is the account owner.
- The owner can add people to the account. Your business is responsible for everyone it adds and for what happens under its account, so keep sign-ins private and remove people who no longer need access.
- Give accurate account and billing information, and keep it up to date.
- Tell us right away at garrett@relicbuilt.com if you think someone has gotten into your account.
2. Plans, people and add-ons
- Each plan (Nexus, Axiom, or the Bundle of both) includes a set number of people, shown on our pricing. A person counts once no matter how many products they use.
- People beyond those included are added as extra seats at the listed price. Crew who use only the time clock don't take a seat but need a crew pack.
- When you add people or add-ons, your subscription changes to match, and the difference is charged or credited on your bill, prorated for the rest of the billing period.
3. Trials, billing and renewals
- New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. We take a card when the trial starts and charge it when the trial ends, unless you cancel first.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe.
- Prices don't include taxes unless stated. You're responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.
- If we change a price, we'll tell the account owner at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price, so you can change plans or cancel first.
- Payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or where we decide to give a refund.
4. If a payment fails
If a payment fails, nothing changes for 7 days while you update your card; Stripe will retry the payment. After that, your account becomes read-only: everyone can still sign in and see your information, but nothing new can be added or changed until the payment goes through. Once it does, full access comes back right away.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then access ends. We keep your information for 30 days after that, so you can come back or ask us at garrett@relicbuilt.com for an export of your data. After 30 days we delete it, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Your data is yours
Everything your business puts into Nexus and Axiom belongs to your business. You give us permission to store, copy, process and display it only as needed to provide the software to you: for example, to show it to your team, send the quotes, invoices and messages you ask us to send, and run the features you use. We don't sell your data and don't use it for advertising or to train AI models.
You're responsible for your data and for having the right to put it in the software, including information about your customers, crew and contractors. You're also responsible for having permission to email and text the people you contact through Nexus and Axiom, and for following the laws that apply to those messages.
7. Payments from your customers
If you connect your own Stripe account to take payments from your customers, those payments go directly from your customer to your Stripe account, under your agreement with Stripe. We don't hold your customers' money, and we aren't a party to your sales. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks between you and your customers are yours to handle.
8. AI features
Some features use AI, provided by Anthropic and OpenAI, to read receipts, draft estimates, answer questions and similar tasks. The relevant information is sent to them for processing, and they don't use it to train their models. AI can be wrong: check prices, quantities, totals and anything else important before you send or rely on it. Nothing in the software is legal, tax, financial or other professional advice.
9. Fair use
Please don't:
- use the software for anything illegal, or to harass, deceive or harm anyone;
- send spam, or texts or emails to people who haven't agreed to hear from you;
- upload content you don't have the right to use, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
- try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, or test, probe or get around our security;
- overload the service, scrape it, or use automated tools on it other than the integrations we provide;
- share one person's sign-in among several people to avoid paying for seats;
- copy, resell or rebuild the software, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
Some features include monthly allowances, such as AI requests, emails and texts, sized for normal use by a business of your plan's size. If an account's use is far beyond that, we'll contact you about it before limiting anything.
We may suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules, and will tell you why when we reasonably can.
10. Connected services
Nexus and Axiom work with services run by other companies, such as Stripe, Google, Slack and Twilio. Your use of those services is under their own terms. We aren't responsible for them, and a feature that depends on one may change or stop if that company changes or ends its service.
11. Changes and availability
We're always improving the software, and may add, change or remove features. If we remove something your plan depends on, we'll tell you first. We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. If we ever shut down Nexus or Axiom, we'll give at least 60 days' notice so you can export your data, and refund any prepaid time after the shutdown date.
12. Disclaimers
The software is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your business is responsible for its own decisions, including prices, quotes, schedules, pay and taxes, even when the software helps with them.
13. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Relicon LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the software. Our total liability for any claim about it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
14. If something goes wrong
Your business agrees to cover Relicon LLC's reasonable costs from claims by others that arise from your data, the messages you send through the software, or your breaking these terms. If you have a concern, please email garrett@relicbuilt.com first; most things can be sorted out quickly that way.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Nebraska, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the software changes. If a change is significant, we'll tell the account owner by email or in the apps at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the software after that means your business accepts the new terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
